The BitSight8 extends the sensorProbe™ family with enhanced features to make your remote monitoring easy. A standalone product with no external software dependencies, the BitSight8 gives you the very best for your monitoring needs.

The BitSight8 is a high speed, accurate, and intelligent monitoring device. The BS8 is a completely embedded host with a proprietary Linux like Operating System, including TCP/IP stack, web server, email, and full SNMP functionality. SMS notifications can be sent via a 3rd party email-to-SMS gateway.

A new feature in the BitSight8 is the integration of a relative humidity and temperature multi sensor module comprising a calibrated digital output. The sensor includes a capacitive polymer sensing element for relative humidity and a bandgap temperature sensor. Both are seamlessly coupled to a 14bit analog to digital converter and a serial interface circuit on the same chip. This results in superior signal quality, a fast response time and insensitivity to external disturbances (EMC). By having both temperature and humidity sensors in a single sensor, the BitSight8 can have up to a maximum of 8 temperature and 8 humidity sensors. This extends the capability of the BitSight8 to maximum of 16 sensing parameters.

The BitSight8 works with every intelligent sensor in the Ravica family. You can connect any of our sensors, in any combination, to monitor temperature, humidity, water leakage, airflow, security, detect AC Power Line Voltage, measure Digital Voltmeter, control relays, and many more. Our sensors include an integrated data collection and graphing package to spot trends in the airflow, temperature, and humidity.

Adaptability for your existing systems

The BitSight8 comes with a 1U rackmount bracket for easy installation in your existing racks and enclosures. The BitSight8 is a complete fit for your rackmount monitoring solutions with an optional security sensor to tell you when the cabinet door has been opened and a graphical airflow monitoring interface with our Airflow sensor.

The BS8 system logging records every event in its embedded database. You can see a time stamp of when the sensor alarm was raised and what type of event occurred.
